The 2026 CAZOVA Men’s Final Four Championship was officially declared open with a warm welcome from the President of the Curaçao Volleyball Federation
Speaking on behalf of the organizing committee, the President said it was a great honor for Curaçao to host participants from across the Caribbean, bringing different countries together to compete, share experiences and celebrate the true spirit of sport.
Addressing the athletes, she delivered a simple but meaningful message: “Play hard. Play fair. Respect your opponents. Respect the officials—even when you are absolutely convinced they are wrong! And above all, enjoy every moment.”
She reminded everyone that officials, like players, are human and may occasionally miss a call, adding that while one or two mistakes can happen during a match, “there’s no way they would make 25 wrong calls. That simply doesn’t happen.”
The President emphasized that the tournament is about much more than the final results. While some teams will leave with medals, trophies and individual awards, others will depart with new friendships, unforgettable memories and valuable experiences.
“Today is not only about winning, but also about friendship, respect, teamwork and fair play,” she said, encouraging everyone to embrace the opportunity to compete while building lasting connections across the region.
She concluded by expressing sincere appreciation to CAZOVA, the tournament sponsors, volunteers and organizing committee for their dedication and hard work in making the championship possible.
Wishing all teams a successful tournament, great memories and the very best of luck, the President officially declared the 2026 CAZOVA Men’s Final Four Championship open, inviting everyone to enjoy the exciting competition ahead.
